A practical checklist for EPC teams planning welfare, cleaning, consumables and handover support. This guide is a practical starting point; final scope and safety arrangements should be agreed for each site.
Before mobilisation
Confirm access arrangements, welfare capacity, water and power arrangements, service frequency, site rules, responsible contacts and the reporting format. Separate what Fresh Joy will deliver directly from specialist services requiring approved partners.
During construction
Agree a visit schedule, cleaning specifications, consumables stock levels, escalation contacts and an exception log. Record completed work with dated photographs and checklists so site teams can identify outstanding issues.
Before commissioning
Review cabins, compounds, walkways and welfare facilities against the handover specification. Plan deep cleaning and clear-downs around testing, snagging and restricted access.
At handover
Obtain sign-off against a defined scope, collate visit records and photographs, and confirm which temporary services should stop, transfer or remain in place.
Questions to ask suppliers
Who supervises delivery? What is included and excluded? How are failed visits escalated? What evidence will be provided? Who is accountable for specialist subcontractors?
